Colliers International, a global real estate services company has represented Poland’s leading developer, Budizol S.A, in negotiating a franchise agreement with InterContinental Hotels Group.

The franchise agreement includes a 4 star Holiday Inn hotel, located in the city of Bydgoszcz. The Holiday Inn, consisting of 138 rooms, will be situated at the heart of the city’s center on ul. Grodzka.

According to the contract between Colliers International and Hotele Grupy Budizol S.A. Colliers will be operational advisor during the first 2 years of the hotel’s development process, which includes one year prior to and post of the hotel’s opening.

The Holiday Inn opening is planned for September 2010.

The Hospitality Department was developed at Colliers International Poland almost 5 years ago. The Hospitality Team was involved in several advisory projects, among which the most important were negotiations of franchising agreement for Hilton Hotel in Gdańsk, negotiations of franchising agreement for 3 star Holiday Garden Inn hotel in Rzeszów,  feasibility study of Stadium City at Stadion Narodowy for Narodowe Centrum Sportu, consulting during purchase process of LIM Center including Warsaw Marriott Hotel, sale of Grand Hotel in Łódź, feasibility study of  Airport Hotel Warsaw and valuation of Hyatt Regency hotel in Warsaw.
