Colliers International (Ukraine) represented the landlord of MLP Chaika industrial complex in letting 20,900 sqm of warehouse and office space to MTI company – one of the leading Ukrainian IT distributors. As a result of the agreement, 27% of the second building of the industrial complex had been let.

Prior to that, in May 2007, Colliers International closed the major transaction in the field of professional warehouses in Ukraine: Fordon Logistic Company signed the agreement on letting 100% of space in MLP Chaika logistic complex the first building (31,000 sqm of warehouse and office space).

MLP Chaika logistic complex is the largest class А project in Ukraine, completely corresponding to the latest international standards located 3 km from Kyiv Ring Road and 800 m from international highway Kyiv-Lviv (Е40), the major transportation corridor from Europe connecting Kyiv with the Western border of Ukraine having 30% of the total cargo traffic of Kyiv.

The complex contains over 116,000 sqm of warehouse and office space. Aerobud company is in charge of the construction works. The project construction is supposed to be delivered within 2 phases:

• Separate warehouse facility with general leasing area of over 31 ,000 sqm (now totally leased to MLP Chaika logistic complex) will be delivered in the 1st quarter 2008.
  
  
• Another two facilities with a general leasing area of 75,000 and 7,800 sqm will be delivered together in the end of the 2ndquarter 2008. Apart form the MTI transaction, Colliers International extensively negotiates the second building space letting.

MTI – the one of the biggest Ukrainian companies, operating on the IT market. The company key activities include: sales of computer & office equipment, communication equipment (distribution); system integration and consulting, warranty and post warranty maintenance.
