Colliers ABR Negotiates 12,917 Square Feet of Space in Newly Renovated Building for New York Based Law Firm
NEW YORK, May 7, 2008- Colliers ABR, Inc., a leading full service commercial real estate services firm, announced today that Dunnington Bartholow & Miller LLP has signed an eight year sublease of 12,917 square feet at 1359 Broadway, for part of the 6th floor.
DBM is a New York based law firm which concentrates in the areas of trusts and estates, corporate and SEC issues, commercial litigation, real estate, employment, ERISA, immigration and tax-exempt organizations.
1359 Broadway is a former garment manufacturing building owned by W& H Properties that recently underwent a $50 million modernization and office conversion program. The building provides convenient access to the Times Square, Penn Station and Herald Square transportation hubs.
“With the development and improvement of Midtown West more and more traditional office users which historically have been located farther east are moving into this area. We are pleased to have secured this space which will enable DBM to maintain an occupancy cost per attorney which is lower than the industry average,” stated Brian Weld of Colliers ABR.
