Peter Shiue of Colliers Dow & Condon was awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation by the CCIM Institute, one of the leading commercial real estate associations in the world.  The designation was awarded August 27 during examinations held in Chicago.

            Peter was among the more than 100 commercial real estate professionals who earned the designation by passing the Institute’s Comprehensive Examination, the final element in the designation process.

            The CCIM designation is awarded to commercial real estate professionals upon successful completion of a graduate-level education curriculum and presentation of a portfolio of qualifying industry experience.  The curriculum addresses: financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis and investment analysis – the cornerstones of commercial investment real estate.  CCIMs are recognized experts in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation, and investment analysis. 

Peter is a senior broker in Colliers Dow & Condon’s New Haven office and is an integral part of the firm’s initiative to provide seamless commercial real estate services throughout the state of Connecticut.  Peter has over ten years of experience in the commercial real estate industry and focuses on investment sales and leasing.  He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago and an M.B.A. in finance from the University of Connecticut.
