JP Morgan Chase purchased 33 percent stake in Alok Infrastructure’s SPV for INR 130 crore
As reported in the Economic Times, JP Morgan Chase is investing INR 130 crore for 33 percent stake in an SPV of realty firm Alok Infrastructure, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mumbai-based textile maker and retailer Alok Industries, states the banking sources.
The funding would be used in developing a realty project at a prime location in Mumbai.

Pantaloon Retail to expand in Tamil Nadu
According to Pantaloon Retail India’s Senior Manager-Operations, S Dharmendra, the company is all set to open new 'Big Bazaar' outlets in the major towns and cities of Tamil Nadu within the shortest possible period, reports The Hindu Business Line.
The company will open its new outlet in Chennai within a month followed by cities such as Salem, Tiruchirapalli, Madurai, Tirunelveli and Tirupur. However, the company did not reveal its investment plan for the same.
