Colliers has been providing comprehensive service in the areas of lease administration, transaction management, negotiations, and formal valuations for Marconi since 2001.

Marconi now occupies 330 properties worldwide (reduced from 850 over an 18-month period), with some 140 located in the EMEA region. Marconi did not have an effective database of portfolio information and, as such, our primary task was to build an efficient and reliable database by collecting all documentation and undertaking abstracts.

The central Colliers database REport and the CATS system are used for data storage and assignment tracking.  Both the Marconi and designated Colliers real estate teams have access to the data on this web-based system, which is used as a tool to discuss projects (on a weekly conference call), forthcoming lease breaks, and expirations.

Colliers is currently managing numerous assignments, including property disposals and acquisitions, sale and leasebacks, valuations, and property management in Germany, France, Poland, Sweden, Spain, and the UK.
