Colliers Turley Martin Tucker (CTMT) is pleased to announce that John and Michael Heekin have joined the CTMT-Cincinnati Retail Services Team.

John Heekin, one of the top retail real estate professionals in Greater Cincinnati, has joined the Colliers Retail Services Group as a Senior Vice President. He joins Colliers after 8 years of running his own business, Transformance Realty, Inc. a management and leasing company specializing in repositioning and redeveloping underperforming properties.

Heekin started his career at Coldwell Banker in 1981, during his 27-years in the business he has leased and managed over 5-million SF of retail, including, Kenwood Towne Center, Shops at Harper's Point, Kettering Towne Center, Elmwood Village in Harahan, Louisiana; Shops at Kenilworth in Towson, Maryland; and The Mall at Green Hills in Nashville, TN. Tenants Heekin has worked with include: Federated Department Stores, Elder Beerman, The Limited Stores, Joseph A. Banks, Home Depot, Kroger, Nicholson's, Jeff Ruby's and First Watch. Heekin specializes in malls, strip shopping centers and urban retail projects. Prior to Transformance Realty, Heekin served for 11 years as Vice President at Towne Properties. John Heekin will join Colliers full-time in June 2008.

CTMT also welcomes Michael Heekin as a Retail Specialist. Michael is a recent Miami University graduate. He has industry experience working with his father on development projects at Transformance Realty. Heekin's background also includes experience in radio sales at popular Cincinnati sports station, 1530 HOMER. He holds an Ohio real estate license and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
