On November 5th and 6th, the Balkan Property Week took place, which included the specialized BalPex Exclusive real estate exhibition and BalRec conference. Colliers has been an active participant and partner of both events for some years now.
Atanas Garov, Managing Director, Anton Slavchev, Manager Offices & Business Parks, Dimitar Brankov, Property Management Director, Iglika Yordanova, Manager Retail Services and Georgi Kirov, Director Investment and Corporate Advisory Services were speakers at the specialized panels during the BalRec –
Awaiting Recovery conference. The event aimed at presenting the platform for discussion and analysis of the most important trends and problems currently faced by the real estate industry. Some of the topics discussed on the panels were:
• Anti-crisis decisions: which measures proved to be efficient and what did we do wrong?
• Problematic assets: is there a way for everyone to win?
• Property management of commercial and residential properties: problems and solutions
• Offices: interrelation between economic cycle and market cycle
• Shopping centers: between developers and buyers
More than 350 representatives of the building and investment business, local and international consultant companies, real estate agencies, architect companies, financial institutions and media took part in the conference.
