Atanas Garov, Managing Director,
Colliers International Bulgaria
Atanas Garov holds a BA in Economics from The Colorado College and an MBA in International Business from Thunderbird, AGSIM, USA. Before joining Colliers, he worked at Jones Lang LaSalle’s Capital Markets Group in New York, USA.
Atanas Garov joined Colliers in 2002 as Director of Commercial Brokerage Services and Investment and Corporate Advisory Services. He was instrumental in the development of both areas of business. During that time, Mr. Garov also participated in a number of projects in Southeast Europe. After one and a half years, he was promoted to Managing Director of Colliers International Bulgaria. Under his management, the company has continued to develop and consolidated its position as leader in the Bulgarian market.

Rumyana Lepicheva, Executive Director - Varna
Rumyana Lepicheva holds an MA in Economics from Sofia University. She has been with Colliers International since 1997, during which time she has become an acknowledged real estate expert. Ms. Lepicheva was instrumental in the successful establishment of Colliers International in Serbia and Montenegro, having set up and headed the Leasing and Sales Services there in 2001.
After 4 years of managing the Residential Department in the Sofia office, Ms Lepicheva took up the challenging task of expanding the Colliers market presence. She is currently heading the company’s second office in Bulgaria, located in Varna - the largest city on the Black Sea coast.

Dorte Andersen, Marketing Director
Dorte Andersen has a M.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration from HHAA, Denmark. She has more than ten years of experience working with marketing and key account management in various international companies.
Ms. Andersen joined Colliers International in 2003 as Manager of Marketing and Corporate Communications. Since then she has played a key role in servicing the many innovative projects Colliers has been involved in. Under her management the marketing department of Colliers International has grown both in numbers and sophistication, providing on-going marketing support and expertise to the company’s internal and external clients.
Marketing Director for Bulgaria since 2005, she continues to set the standards for Colliers corporate marketing, market research and marketing advisory services.

David Davidov, Director Commercial Brokerage Services
David Davidov has a degree from Sofia University, Bulgaria and has been with Colliers International since 2000. As a senior consultant he has provided successful solutions to clients’ diverse commercial real estate needs. He was quickly promoted to Manager Key Accounts, in which role he was responsible for Colliers’ commercial projects and providing strategic value-added solutions to corporate clients and partners.
He has played a key role in expanding Colliers’ commercial real estate portfolio of projects, services and accounts throughout Southeast Europe, securing major mandates and facilitating some of the most significant transaction with local and international clients and partners. As of 2004 Mr. Davidov is heading the most successful commercial real estate department in Bulgaria, managing innovative projects such as Business Park Sofia, Mall of Sofia, Carrefour Tzarigradsko Mall and Logistics Park Varna.

Georgi Kirov, Manager Investment and Corporate Advisory Services
Georgi Kirov holds a degree in Finance from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, Bulgaria. His professional career started at Spetema Café Bulgaria, where he was involved in the market research activities of the company. After an internship at the Research Division of the Bulgarian National Bank, Mr Kirov joined Colliers in 2002 as a Consultant in Commercial Brokerage Services. Soon after that he became a key member of the Investment and Corporate Advisory Services Department, where he provided Colliers’ corporate clients with high quality market research, valuation and advisory services.
Since the beginning of 2006 Mr. Kirov is head of the rapidly growing Investment and Corporate Advisory Services Department of Colliers Bulgaria, providing unmatched consultancy services to local and international property developers and investors.

Galina Dimitrova, Manager Logistics & Industrial
Galina Dimitrova graduated from Lake Forest College, Lake Forest, IL with a double major in Economics and International Relations and minor in French. Before joining Colliers in 2003 Ms. Dimitrova had worked for esteemed research organizations such as Centre d'Études et de Recherches Internationales in France and The Yankee Group, Boston, USA, conducting and developing research papers for various national and international organizations.
Ms. Dimitrova successfully managed one of Colliers’ largest accounts in the office segment, Business Park Sofia, positioning the project firmly in the market. Since 2005 she has been dedicated to expanding the scope of Colliers’ logistics & industrial services and successfully establishing the company as a leader in this sector.

Iglika Yordanova, Manager Retail
Iglika Yordanova holds Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the Sofia University and a Master Degree in Finance. Before joining Colliers in 2002, she had more than two years experience in the FMCG and retail industry where she specialized in the fields of Customer Service and Sales.
Joining the commercial team Iglika Yordanova gained significant experience with successful, large-scale projects before specializing in retail. She was part of the team that successfully leased out the flagship shopping mall project in Bulgaria – Mall of Sofia. Leading the retail department since 2007, Ms. Yordanova and her team are currently working on seven exclusive shopping mall mandates throughout the country, including the first Carrefour shopping mall project in Bulgaria.

Anton Slavtchev, Manager Offices & Business Parks
Anton Slavtchev holds a Masters Degree in European Business from the European School of Management (ESCP-EAP, Paris/Oxford) and a Maitrise Degree in Economics from University of Strasbourg. Before joining Colliers he worked at Alstom Transport in Paris, France. His previous working experience includes holding different positions at the Corporate Venture Department of EDF as well as at the London office of Hartley Investment Trust.
Mr. Slavtchev has been with Colliers International since 2005. Promptly after joining the company, he was promoted to Senior Consultant, in which role he serviced major local and international clients. As of 2006 Anton Slavtchev is managing Colliers’ Offices & Business Parks unit, contributing to benchmark-setting office developments such as Business Park Sofia, Sofia Tower and European Trade Center.

Tatiana Emilova, Manager Key Accounts, Residential Brokerage Services
Tatiana Emilova has a degree from Champlain College, Vermont, USA. During her stay overseas she gained significant experience in property management and developed professional expertise in real estate in an international context. Upon her return to Bulgaria in 2005, she worked as Sales Executive for the leading Bulgarian company FairPlay International, developing international sales networks and creating successful sales strategies for a number of resort projects.
Ms. Emilova joined Colliers in 2007 as a Manager in the Residential department of the company. Her extensive real estate background, professional and personal qualities make Tatiana a valuable member of Colliers management team, bringing strong business relationships with leading, international real estate companies.

Bogdana Pachilova, Head of Legal Department
Bogdana Pachilova holds Masters Degrees in Law and Economics from Sofia University, Erasmus University Rotterdam and Vienna University. Prior to joining Colliers International, Ms. Pachilova worked as a Legal Counsel for the Bulgarian Telecommunications Company. She acted as a Legal Manager for the establishment of the third GSM operator in Bulgaria preparing the main contracts needed, and negotiating with companies such as Ericsson, Huawei, IBM, Siemens, and British Telecom. As a lawyer she successfully represented and advised Hazama Corporation Japan in their project for the construction of Tokuda Hospital in Sofia.
Bogdana Pachilova joined Colliers in 2005 as a Legal Counsel specializing in contracts and negotiations. She now heads the creative legal team of Colliers providing both the full range of in-house legal services and professional legal advisory to clients. Her competence and extended experience adds value to all Colliers services in all real estate sectors.

Philip Bay , Regional Director Southeast Europe,
Member of EMEA Board, Colliers International
Philip Bay founded the company in Bulgaria in 1990 with the ambition of making it the leading real estate services firm in the country. He has led its expansion throughout Southeast Europe, to the point that today Colliers is the unmatched real estate services provider, working with the leading investors in the region. Colliers has established offices in Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Greece, and Albania but has also worked on selected assignments in FYROM, Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Mr. Bay has served as President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria, founded the American Chamber of Commerce in FYROM and become a founding member and Second Vice President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Serbia and Montenegro.
In 2004, Mr. Philip Bay was elected Member of the EMEA Board of Colliers International.

Natalia Kaneva, Regional Operations Director Southeast Europe
Natalia Kaneva is one of the founding members of the company established in 1991 in Bulgaria,. After eight years as a Managing Director of the office in Bulgaria, she was responsible for its regional expansion and the development of Colliers operations in Serbia and Montenegro, and later on in Croatia. Natalia Kaneva has been instrumental in establishing the firm as the leading real estate service provider and is now Regional Operations Director for all company offices in Southeast Europe.
Ms. Kaneva has more than 15 years of real estate experience and has worked with the leading corporate clients and investors in the countries of Southeast Europe. During her time in Belgrade she was elected for Vice President of the Foreign Investors Council and President of its Real Estate and Construction Committee. She is also a founding member of the Foreign Investors Council in Croatia.

Nicholas Yovanidis, Director Property Management Services, Southeast Europe
Since 2005, Nicholas Yovanidis has been the director of Colliers’ Property Management Services. Mr. Yovanidis has significant experience within the field of property management, including the management of shopping facilities in Athens, Greece.
With over eight years of managerial experience, he has been instrumental in the perpetual development of the department and continues to set the standards for Colliers property management throughout the region.
